Scheduling an appointment
Dogs
All sessions take place in the comfort of your own home. If you have a dog recovering from surgery, having anxiety or is in pain, it is often better to work on
the dog in his/her home. In situations like that the dog doesn't need the extra stress of having to go somewhere new. The first visit always take longer. We talk about illnesses, history of your dog and slowly get the dog used to being touched in a different manner.
Horses
All massage and acupressure appointments for horses take place at your barn, or in your pasture. A helper is required to be present during the session to help hold the horse.
Massage and acupressure for dogs: $70
(All dogs are required to be current on their Rabies Vaccination. If your dog isn't vaccinated due to health reasons, please let me know upon scheduling.)
Massage and Acupressure sessions for horses: $110
Gift cards are available for both dog and horse sessions. Please reach out to order.
Cancellation policy
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your animal's appointment, it needs to
be done the day before. Same day cancellations are subject to a $35 cancellation fee for small animals, $50 for equine appointments. Since I don't have an office, my travel route for a given day is planned out - and I would like to be able to offer your appointment to someone else, if possible, which isn't doable with same day cancellations.
By law, massage and acupressure on an animal is required to be done under the direct or general supervision of a licensed veterinarian. A signed supervision form from your vet is required prior to your first session in order to be in compliance with Texas Administrative Code §573.14. This form can be downloaded from the "Forms" tab.
